Anesthesia is usually used, and this treatment can be completed in one or more visits, depending on your specific case. If root canal treatment will likely be insufficient, you will be informed during your consultation or in the case of a complication. After treatment, you will be able to drive yourself home. You should also be comfortable with immediately returning to your normal routine.

In most cases, a dental restoration will need to be placed after root canal treatment. Depending on your needs, we may place your dental restoration on the day of treatment or within a few weeks of root canal treatment. Our dentist will consider your needs and goals to determine what type of restoration is best for your smile.
